Guest Services Specialist

We are looking for a positive, joyful, energetic and attentive Guest Services Specialist. Our Guest Services Specialist often has the unique opportunity of being our first impression. This team member must have a great work ethic, a great attitude, be able to interact well with people and be willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our guests. This position offers a great advancement opportunities that could potentially lead to an upper level management position for the right candidate. The customer experience must be a priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all of our guests as well as other team members in all situations

  • Exceed the expectations of our guests

  • Greet and interact with guests by phone, email and in-person

  • Maintain professionalism at all times in conduct and appearance

  • Quickly become well-versed in all services, offerings and policies of Furr Kingdom

  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs professionally and efficiently

  • Create and manage guest reservations

  • Provide facility tours

  • Maintain accurate files and records

  • Maintain lobby inventories

  • Cross train and assist in other capacities as needed

  • Maintain an exceptionally clean work area and assist with cleaning other areas

Requirements:

Pet Care Specialist

Furr Kingdom is seeking an energetic, attentive and responsible individual to join our team as a Pet Care Specialist. The perfect candidate will maintain and ensure the safety of our pets and team members, willingly and without compromise adhere to cleaning policies, engage with our pets and provide the highest quality care. The best pet experience must be a priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for, monitor and engage pet guests

  • Facilitate playtime activities and maintain day camp schedule and activities

  • Feed, walk, bathe and brush pet guests

  • Maintain exceptionally clean environment and facility- follow spot and routine cleaning/sanitation schedule and procedures without compromise

  • Clean pet guest accommodations, litter boxes, laundry and pet dishes according to policies and procedures

  • Maintain professionalism at all times in conduct and appearance

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all of our guests as well as other team members in all situations

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation/records

  • Quickly become well-versed in all services, offerings and policies of Furr Kingdom

  • Interact with clients in a positive and professional manner

  • Assist in other capacities as needed

Requirements:

  • Dependable and flexible

  • Must be able to read and recognize dog's behavior, body language, physical status and stress level while in group setting

  • Be able to oversee groups of dogs and maintain control at all times

  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work weekend and holiday hours which are our busiest times

  • Ability to cross-train in other areas

  • Must have viable transportation

  • Must be trained in Pet CPR (training will be made available by Furr Kingdom)

  • Experience preferred but not required (we love to train new and ambitious talent with the right attitude)

  • Must pass initial background check and drug screen

 Pet Care Specialist II

Furr Kingdom is seeking an energetic, attentive and responsible individual to join our team as a Pet Care Specialist II. The perfect candidate will maintain and ensure the safety of our pets and team members, willingly and without compromise adhere to cleaning policies, engage with our pets and provide the highest quality care. Driving experience and a good driving record is a must as safe transportation of our pet guests to and from Furr Kingdom is required. The best pet experience must be a priority. 

Responsibilities:

  • All the same responsibilities as Pet Care Specialist I

  • Pick-up and drop-off pet guests according to transportation schedule

  • Safely drive pet guests to and from Furr Kingdom

Requirements:

  • All the same requirements as Pet Care Specialist I

  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License

  • Must have a good driving record

  • Must adhere to all pet transportation policies

Groomer

Furr Kingdom is seeking a motivated, ambitious, energetic and professional groomer. Our groomers are expected to provide consistently high quality bathing and grooming services. Outstanding customer service and pet guest service is a must. Groomers are to meet and exceed the client's expectations for the quality of service provided. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Professionally groom and style pet guests according to owners’ instruction and/or according to breed standard

  • Ensure the wellness and safety of all pet guests at all times

  • Develop relationships with pet parents by learning and understanding their preferences and needs and by recommending products to benefit their pet

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation/records

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment: adhere to routine cleaning procedures

  • Assist in other capacities as needed

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience required

  • Must possess professional grooming and handling skills and excellent scissor skill

  • Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects

  • Must have dexterity and confidence to handle, bathe, and groom pets who may be scared or aggressive

  • Ability and knowledge to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease required

  • Must be willing to cross-train in order to assist in other capacities during downtime

  • Must be dependable, punctual and flexible
